This limbless guy here is quadruple amputee Philippe Croizon who swam between islands in the icy Bering Strait to cross from America to Asia in the final part of his quest to link all continents. It took him 1 hour and 20 minutes to cross the four kilometer distance between US island of Little Diomede and Big Diomede.

The limbless Frenchman swimmer said that this was the hardest swim of his life. He also added, "I tell them (the disabled people): Everything is possible, everything can be done when you have the will to go beyond yourself. We're all equal, disabled and non-disabled people on all continents,".
