DILG Sec Jesse Robredo rescue: found more debris from crashed plane

As the search and rescue operations for DILG secretary Jesse Robredo continues, more debris from the crashed plane including its fuel tank were found. The fuel tank from the Piper Seneca plane that crashed with Robredo on board is now in the hands of Masbate police. Earlier, it was reported that some debris that was part of the right wing of the Seneca plane carrying Robredo was found and photographed by Transportation secretary Manuel Roxas.

The Interior and Local Government secretary among two others including Pilot Jessup Bahinting and a Nepalese flight student named Kshitiz Chand remain missing, while Robredo's aide Jhun Abrasado survived the crash sustaining injuries on his arm. He was rescued by passing fishermen after the crash, NDRRMC reported.

TV and radio reports said that Secretary of Transportation Manuel Roxas is hopeful that Robredo will be found alive and asked the people to continue praying for the safety of the DILG secretary.
