The following are Suspension of Classes Advisories for today, August 1, 2012. As of this date, classes are still suspended in the areas listed below, according to DepEd.

Meanwhile, PAGASA reported that Bagyong Gener was last spotted some 270 km Northeast of Basco, Batanes having a maximum sustained winds of 120 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 150 kph. Storm warning signal number 2 was issued in Batanes Group of Islands, Babuyan Group of Islands and Calayan Group of Islands while Signal No. 1 for Apayao and the rest of Cagayan.
